Direct Primary Care
With all of the technological advances in healthcare, it seems that we have lost the most important part; a personal relationship between doctor and patient. It is not uncommon for doctors to have to see 30 or 40 patients a day. Insurance companies are denying patient treatment recommended by their doctor and requiring doctors to fill out forms and call them in order to justify why their patient needs a medication or an imaging study. What does this mean for the patient? Rising medical costs, delay in care, and decreased access to their doctor.
Direct primary care (DPC) offers a solution to this problem. DPC puts the doctor patient relationship back at the forefront of your healthcare by eliminating the interference from the insurance companies.
